What happens when someone truly awakens?
Do they really become aware?
Or do they just awaken to another lie?
Is reality suddenly new to them?
Is their perception changed forever?
Or is it merely a passing idea?
Is there permanence to the new way of thinking?
Something that will be burned into their memories
Or will it become a passing chance at change
Something that will be forgotten soon enough.
Does it truly make a difference in one's life?
Does it enliven and enrich someone's life?
Or does it disappoint and dishearten them?
the possibility is there for change in life
It is there and it can happen for everyone
If one awakens, and they can see their future
Take advantage of the vision lying before them
then they have had an epiphany


This poem was written by my son, Robert Novak





Please take the wolf and send her on her way around the world to continue her walk
in the name of the plight of the animals who cannot speak
for themselves yet continue to die at the hands of humans.





A Lakota Prayer

Great Spirit, you are everything
And yet above everything
You are first and always have been
Through you our children will have strong hearts
And they will walk the straight path in a sacred manner
Help me to walk the sacred path of life
Without difficulty
With my mind and heart continually fixed on you!
Amen
