Since 2007 when I was
diagnosed with CKD I was
forced to learn all I
could about what I had
So I tried to do so, my
wonderful doctor kept
me off dialysis and
on the straight and narrow
and I stuck to my diet
Then August of 2010, I
got the call from Buffalo
General Hospital,
that most kidney patient
wait for.
Them saying,"You are the
next one up, we have a
match."
Most of us take life foregranted and never really give it a thought
but those of us who wait and hold our breath each and everyday
think just alittle bit differently then you
I pray that you are never in the same situation and in need
But if you are I hope that someone comes to your rescue and you don't have to wait
I waited for 2 1/2 years because none of my family could help
they tested and wanted to help desperately but for reasons unknown they couldn't
and no one online wanted to be bothered
no matter how hard I asked
So my kidney came from
a deceased person's family who decided to give the gift
of life to several people and I am blessed to ONE of them
Maybe someday you will to, and take life differently
DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN BE A LIVING DONOR,
