Mystery and ancient belief lie beyond death
In a realm that breeches the barriers of time and space
Death's icy grip on mortal life is challenged
Peace may never come
For my spirit is bound by an earthly goal
On the ebony wings of my guardian I return
Down dark alleys and dimly lit streets, he leads me onward
Only through his spirit do I exist on this mortal plane
Fear of injury or death is no more
For he will not release me until my mission is complete
Only then shall I be allowed to rest in the arms of death
Be quick, lest I become doomed to walk this earth again
Done now, Crow, fly me home
Let darkness envelop me once more
~I am Peace~

This poem was inspired by the movie "The Crow" and death of it's actor Brandon Lee.
May his spirit be at peace in that place where he knows he is home



A Lakota Prayer

Great Spirit, you are everything
And yet above everything
You are first and always have been
Through you our children will have strong hearts
And they will walk the straight path in a sacred manner
Help me to walk the sacred path of life
Without difficulty
With my mind and heart continually fixed on you!
